How we do our very best to sell your boat

1.                 We collect & research as much information on your boat as possible & compile it carefully & accurately to present your boat in the best possible way.

2.                We will try to give you the most accurate valuation based on the current market.

3.                We display photographs & details of your boat on our permanent display in Havelock & place a sign board on your boat with details.

4.                We are personally available to discuss with & show prospective buyers around your boat during usual office hours & Saturdays.

5.                We are available to you & buyers by phone after hours & will make out of hours appointments to view your boat when necessary.

6.                We will advertise your boat on our Bow to Stern Website, the Trade Me Web Site & other sites as appropriate.

7.                We will at your request advertise in Trade a Boat magazine or other magazines as appropriate.

8.                We will always act professionally & honestly on your behalf.

Please Note. Although we do our very best to give accurate information & present boats honestly, we rely heavily on the owners for past history & servicing & Bow to Stern cannot be held responsible for any inaccurate information however it is caused. Please ensure you tell us of any faults you suspect your boat may have. Buyers are more likely to buy despite a few faults as long as they feel they know what they are buying.

OUR CHARGES

REMEMBER OUR COMMISION WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE FINAL SALE PRICE ACCEPTED.

OUR FEES ARE AT PRESENT WE BELIEVE THE LOWEST IN NEW ZEALAND

5% OF THE FINAL SALE PRICE OF ALL BOATS BETWEEN $1000 &  $100,000

4.5% OF THE FINAL SALE PRICE OF ALL BOATS BETWEEN $100,000 &  $200,000

4% OF THE FINAL SALE PRICE OF ALL BOATS OVER $200,000

Note We have an initial charge for the actual costs of any outside advertising eg “trade me”, “trade a boat magazine” etc. if required. We do not charge for our own website, display boards or photos.

Trade me costs will be refunded on all boats sold over $5000.

Other advertising costs up to $200 will be refunded on all boats sold by us over $50,000

Other advertising costs up to $500 will be refunded on all boats sold by us over $100,000
